Welcome to Content Factory San Diego. By accessing our website and booking our services, you agree to the following Terms and Conditions.

1. Acceptance of Terms

By accessing our website and using our services, you agree to be bound by these Terms and Conditions. If you do not agree, please do not use our services.

2. Services Provided

Content Factory San Diego provides podcast studio rentals, video production services, and content creation support. Service details are outlined on our website and may be updated from time to time.

3. Booking, Payments, and Deposits

• A 50% deposit is required to secure your booking unless paid in full
• The remaining balance is due at the start of your session
• Sessions will not begin until all outstanding balances are paid
• We accept major credit cards and other approved payment methods

4. Cancellations and Rescheduling

We reserve studio time, staff, and equipment specifically for your session. Many of our engineers are part time and move their schedule around to be available for sessions. We ask that you please respect them and their time as we respect you and your time.

• 7 or more days notice
Full refund available
First reschedule is free. Additional reschedules incur a $25 reschedule fee

• 3 to 7 days notice
Deposit is non refundable
Reschedule fee is $50

• Less than 72 hours notice
Reschedule fee is $100

• Within 24 hours or no show
Charged 100% of the booking total

Important
All cancellation and rescheduling fees are based on the full booking value, not the amount paid. Deposits and payments are applied toward these fees accordingly.

5. Arrival, Timing, and Overtime

• Sessions begin at the scheduled start time, not arrival time
• Clients are encouraged to arrive 10 to 15 minutes early (If you are earlier than that, there is no guarantee the engineer is on-site yet and will not be able to let you in until they arrive.)

Late Arrivals
• Sessions will not be extended for late arrivals
• Lost time is not refunded or credited

Overtime
• Billed at $100 per 30 minutes, subject to availability
• Overtime is not guaranteed if another session is scheduled

6. Last Minute Bookings and Non Standard Requests (MUST BE DONE BY PHONE CALL OR SMS - OUR SYSTEM WILL NOT LET YOU BOOK LESS THAN 24 HOURS IN ADVANCE.)

• Bookings made within 24 hours may incur a $100 last minute fee paid at the time of booking.
• Custom or non standard requests may incur additional fees including
Additional cameras or technical setups
Custom lighting or set changes
Live streaming
After hours sessions

All such requests will be quoted based on scope.

7. Studio Use and Conduct

Clients agree to use the studio respectfully and follow all guidelines provided.

• Guests are allowed but must not disrupt production
• Drinks are permitted on set
• Food is restricted to designated areas
• Alcohol is permitted for guests 21 plus, limited and subject to safety guidelines
• Smoking or vaping is not permitted inside the building

Damage to Equipment or Studio
Clients are responsible for any damage caused during their session and agree to report any issues immediately.

8. File Delivery and Storage

• Files are delivered via Google Drive
• Clients may bring their own storage devices for same day transfer
• Data transfer time is included within the booked session

Storage Policy
• Files are stored for 30 days following the session
• After 30 days, files may be permanently deleted

9. Content Ownership

Clients retain full ownership of their recorded content.
Content Factory San Diego may use anonymized excerpts for promotional purposes unless otherwise agreed in writing.

10. Liability

Content Factory San Diego is not liable for
• Loss or damage to personal property
• Injuries sustained on the premises

Clients assume all risks associated with use of the studio and its equipment.

11. Changes to Terms

We reserve the right to update these Terms and Conditions at any time. Updates take effect immediately upon posting. Continued use of our services constitutes acceptance of any changes.

12. Governing Law

These Terms are governed by the laws of the State of California. Any disputes shall be resolved in the courts of San Diego, California.
